Spreading Our Message Around the WORLD… Black Women “DO” Workout!

Black Women “Do” Workout!…created by Former Quality Assurance Manager, Personal Trainer, Writer and Motivational Speaker, Crystal Adell, in 2009 as a campaign on Facebook.com is her grassroots effort for promoting and championing Black women AROUND THE WORLD who are determined to not be a part of disparaging statistical data regarding health and obesity.

Ms. Adell has been providing positive and inspirational motivation since 2009 to over hundreds of thousands of women to help decrease the risk of many obesity health related issues including heart disease, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure (leading diseases for African-Americans). It is her personal attempt to change the obesity statistics Globally by working with a collective who are more than willing to inspire one another towards a healthy lifestyle to help change and shape a healthier world for us all!

Ms. Adell believes  that by showing praise and encouragement in the way of nurturing sisterhood as a support system, trend setting Black women will ultimately become the iconic standard for exceptional health and fitness!

Beautiful Women Do Workout This fan page was developed to help keep ALL women around the world motivated in their fitness goals whether it’s losing weight, toning up, feeling great, having more energy, making online connections, or just having a good time celebrating one another. Black Girls Youth Fitness Black Girls Youth Fitness was created to bring about the awareness for Medical research which says that decreasing body fat and increasing cardiovascular fitness in young adults plays a major role in reducing the risks of diabetes. Juvenile diabetes is almost always first diagnosed in children, teenagers, or young adults.
Black Girls Do Workout

Black Girls Do Workaout became incorporated in 2010 as a Dallas, Texas based 501-C-3 non-profit educational organization. The BGDW underscores the need for daily, quality physical education in our urban public schools. Whether it is Dance, girls karate, ballet, gymnastics, basketball, soccer etc…we need to push further for this demand. Juvenile diabetes is incurable (but treatable!)

Ernestine Shepherd-World’s Oldest Female Body Builder This fan page was created in honor of Mrs. Shepherds, her fans and members of Black Women Do Workout to help keep them inspired with fitness goals beyond their wildest dreams. This champion and world’s oldest performing body builder is 74 years young and shares her mantra for being determined, dedicated and disciplined to be fit! She has a 1,700 calories a day, mostly comprised of boiled egg whites, chicken, vegetables and a liquid egg white drink. She runs about 80 miles per week and bench presses 150 pounds. Bicep curls are done with 15- and 20-pound dumbbells. She has been married for over 50 years and is a grandmother.
